Method:

  1. Grate some alizarin clay and bake for recommended time at recommended temperature as shown in pictures 1 & 1a.

  1. Melt a small amount of scenic water as shown in photo 3. I melt mine in the microwave by putting the setting on cook for a couple of seconds. Constantly watch and turn off the microwave once the scenic water has melted. You can melt it in a shallow dish over a bowl of hot water if you prefer.

  1. Add the red colour to the melted scenic water and mix. Then add a pin head of black and continue to add very small amounts of black until you are happy with the colour.

  1. Mix in the grated Alizarin clay using the toothpick.

  1. Melt the mixture again using the method you prefer and decant into glass jars using a spatula and toothpick.

  1. Allow to stand in a shallow dish of boiled water to disperse bubbles.

  1. Once bubbles have vanished add a lid to the jar and there you have a jar of Cranberry Sauce. Make one or as many as you like. Different sized jars can be used to produce either 12th, 6th or 8th scale miniatures.
