Easter is almost upon us and as a special gift I am offering a Free Easter Mug and Decorated Egg to you (one set per customer).

Simply spend £15 or over and I will include an Easter Mug with your order. Or spend £30 or over and I will include an Easter Mug and Decorated Egg with your order.

If you have a perference for which mug you would like just email me the number 1,2,3 or 4 in the order of your choice, once you have ordered. As no two eggs are the same they will be allocated randomly.

This Valentine's Day I will be apart from my Valentine as he is working abroad and suffice to say he finds it hard enough to remember to buy me a gift when we are together. Therefore I am treating myself this year to a fine box of chocolates and who knows maybe some ice cream. If you will celebrate Valentine's Day alone remember to treat yourself as its important to love yourself.

All Things Christmas

Yesterday my mum and I made the Christmas Cake we were all excited as it was the first time I was going to help. The fruit had been soaking for about a month. Well what can I say it was a disaster and is now residing in the bin. Mum left it in the oven too long and it was burnt black. We were so disappointed although, I think mum was more upset about the waste of a whole bottle of rum that went into making the cake.
Thank Goodness I am so much better at making miniature food. Here are some of my little creations

With November midway through my miniature Christmas preparations are well and truly under way. I had a little set back last week when I sliced my left thumb with a scalpel while trying to trim a mini Christmas pudding. So for a few days I could not make anything. Its on the mend now thank goodness. Lets hope I am not silly enough to do it again. Here is a selection of what I have been busy with.

I have been making these scrumptious little gateaux variations on the Black Forest and Strawberry Gateaux. It got to the point where if I ever saw another picture of a gateau I would scream. I took almost one hundred pictures before I captured the ones good enough to display.

Oh dear I have been back in the UK now for over two months and finding the time to make miniatures is proving difficult. There are just so many other things that need sorting out first. While I was living in Jakarta my son's friend broke the original etched glass in our front door. I have only just managed to get that sourced. Then the garden well, what can I say he just managed to keep it from dying. I have had to weed, prune, replant and generally revive my once beautiful garden not to mention painting the shed and fence. The list goes on but I will not bore you with my woes.

Here are the last of my miniature Easter Treats. I returned to the UK February 25th for 18 days to visit family and friends which I really enjoyed. Even though it was so cold. I find it quite frustrating making minis here in Indonesia often I reach for something only to find I have left it in the UK. Trying to locate supplies here can be time consuming and futile. I am glad I am able to return to the UK every 6/8 weeks.

It has only taken about seven weeks but, here I am in Indonesia making miniatures. Trying to source equipment has been challenging to say the least. To be honest I am not totally happy with the lighting I am using for photographing my minis but needs must. As I am also travelling regularly between Perth Australia, the UK and Indonesia I am finding it difficult to find the time to sculpt. Then no sooner as I have I am on the move again. Well enough of my pitiful moaning here is a sample of what I have been up to.
